Meet Anas Esbel, an AGF scholar from Syria who pursued a BS in Chemical Engineering at the American University of Sharjah

Anas graduated from the American University of Sharjah in 2019. Upon his graduation, he pursued his Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering at McGill University with a fully funded scholarship.
Currently, he is conducting his research in Biomimetic Surface Engineering and looking forward to has his own impact in the industry.
“Choosing a career in a novel area is an important step if you plan to have an impact in the Arab region. Eventually I plan to come back to the UAE or somewhere in the Arab region where I can have a meaningful impact!”
