Meet Angie Fares, an AGF scholar from Lebanon who pursued a BS in Biology at the American University of Beirut

“This foundation opened my eyes to selfless people who were ready to pave the way for my education. It taught me that I am part of a community, and my success not only influences it but also emerges from it. ”​

Angie graduated from the American University of Beirut in 2019 and is currently pursuing her medical studies there.​

She is looking forward to attaining her residency in the United States ana aiming to give back to her community.​

“My goal is to become a physician who’s not only known for her intellect and professionalism but also for her humanism and readiness for help the same way she was offered the support she got to become the person she is molding today.”
