​Meet Baraa Alhaj Chehadeh, an AGFE scholar from Lebanon who pursued a BS in Civil Engineering at the American University of Beirut

“I have always believed that education is at the basis of positive change in our societies, and I am very grateful to have received an AGFE scholarship, as it had given me the chance to live a life-changing experience at AUB. AGFE scholarship was an empowering and special opportunity which I’ll be forever grateful.”​

Baraa graduated from the American University of Beirut in 2021. Upon her graduation, she was accepted to pursue her postgraduate studies in Environmental & Water Resources Engineering at the same university.​

Baraa is looking forward to exploring this field in depth to increase her knowledge and research skills.
