Meet Jana Hmayed, an AGF scholar from Palestine who pursued a BS in Biology at the American University of Beirut.

It is what made my dream into a reality, allowing me to learn, grow, fall, and rise back up, living my university experience to its fullest.”​

Jana graduated from the American University of Beirut in 2022 and currently she is pursuing her master’s degree in Public Health – Health Management and Policy Program at the same university in Beirut.​

“Giving back is at the essence of the next step in my journey. I plan to to continue my studies in the field of public health, a field where great changes and help are a necessity. I hope to get to work with NGOs like the World Health Organization where I can create an impact on the lives of those in my community.”
