Meet Mahmoud Radwan, an AGF scholar from Egypt who pursued a MS in Development Practice at Waterloo University

“Al Ghurair Scholarship came just at the right time of my career; I’d say it saved me many years trying to reach my goals. I am very grateful that we have such an opportunity in the Arab world for all the Arab youth that enables them to have a degree from top respected universities of the world. AGF scholarship was not only a scholarship, but it was another challenge that I wanted to take to reach a new milestone in my life.”

Mahmoud graduated from University of Waterloo in 2019, and currently he is the Associate Project Manager at UNESCO in Paris after 6 years of planning and determination. Recently, he was featured in the “Green Institute”  as a Green advocate and showed interest in development practice in water and energy related to SDG6.

Mahmoud is looking forward to pursuing his PhD later to accomplish the impact he is dreaming of in the Arab world.

“I’ll be waiting for the right moment to give back to the Al Ghurair foundation, Al Ghurair community and the Arab world. ”
