Meet Moaaz Al Qady, an AGFE scholar from Egypt who pursued a BS in Mathematics at the American University in Cairo

“Without AGFE I would have been dreading studying something else that I am not half as passionate about. I think my case is not singular. And so, I believe we should always spread the word about such life changing experiences for potential future students. I am forever thankful for the opportunity AGFE gave me by allowing me to study at a university where I pursued my academic passion.”​

Moaaz graduated from the American University in Cairo in 2021. Currently, he is preparing himself to pursue his PhD in Mathematics at the University of Oregon, United States with a fully funded scholarship.​

His ultimate dream is to become a mathematician researcher and inspire more people in the Arab world to study mathematics and appreciate its central role to humanity throughout history.
