Meet Rehab Meckawy, an AGF scholar from Egypt who pursued a MS in International Health Management at Arizona State University.

“AGF was not only a scholarship for me but a bless when I needed it the most. My career and higher education are so critical for me, and without AGF I would not be the person I am right now, professionally confident and eager to give back to the community.”

Dr. Rehab recently graduated from Arizona State University in 2022, and now she is working as a Public Health and Community Medicine Demonstrator at Alexandria University, Faculty of Medicine

During her Master’s program, Rehab was among the most active in the online learning community. She co-founded the “Egypt Sun Devils” a 340+ student organization bringing together online students from all the MENA region and creating a supportive ecosystem for online learners. She was also a graduate senate leader with the Online Student Government Advocacy Group (OSGAG) at ASU.

Rehab has recently published systematic review at BMC Public Health fully inspired by her AGF sponsored degree in collaboration with her professor at ASU.
