The AGF Community Impact Awards are a recognition platform celebrating youth and educators across the AGF ecosystem whose journeys and contributions reflect resilience, innovation, sustainability, learner support, leadership, community impact, and meaningful contribution. The awards recognize not only achievement, but also growth, perseverance, creativity, contribution, and the people helping strengthen learner confidence, opportunity, and learning-to-earning pathways.
The Youth Awards are open to young people who are 13 years old or above and connected to the AGF ecosystem through participation in an AGF program, initiative, alumni network, or AGF-partner initiative. Youth applicants must complete the Youth Awards application form directly and select one award category that best reflects their story, contribution, or journey.
The Educators Award is open to faculty members, educators, trainers, mentors, facilitators, and learning support professionals involved in an AGF-supported program, initiative, or activity. Nominees must be nominated through an institutional nomination process by an eligible AGF partner institution, program team, or implementing partner.
No. Youth applicants should select one category that best reflects their strongest contribution or journey. If their story fits more than one category, they should choose the category that best captures the main focus of their experience.
Yes. Youth applicants may apply even if their work is still developing, if they can clearly explain the issue they addressed, the action they took, their role, and the progress or potential impact of their effort.
Yes. Each eligible institution or partner may submit up to two nominations per category, based on clear evidence of the nominee’s contribution.
Yes. The nomination/application forms are available in Arabic.
Supporting evidence may include project summaries, photos, links, portfolios, certificates, testimonials, references, reports, feedback, examples of work, or other relevant documentation. The evidence should help show what the applicant or nominee did, who benefited, why it mattered, and what supports the application or nomination.
Applicants and nominees may be contacted if additional information, clarification, or supporting materials are needed during the review process. Final communication timelines will be confirmed once the application and nomination period closes.
AGF may contact shortlisted applicants, nominees, or winners to request additional information, photos, videos, or consent for storytelling and communications purposes. Stories will only be shared in line with AGF’s communications and consent process.
