Meet Nour Merhi, an AGF scholar from Palestine who pursued a BS in Chemistry at the American University of Beirut.

“The program allows future leaders from the Arab world to live unforgettable moments together and this, I believe, has the power to gradually change the world. AGF shall always be a part of me wherever I go, and I shall live to spread its uniqueness to every single person I collide with.”​

Nour graduated from the American University of Beirut in 2022 and currently she is pursuing her master’s degree in Chemistry at the same university in Beirut.​

To me, “giving back” is giving myself a sense of purpose, to better the lives of the people around me, to expand my network and meet like-minded people while volunteering, to create a perspective which would allow me to realize how much I must be grateful for, and to benefit from the opportunity and skills that I was offered as an AGF Scholar to be a good influence on others.
