Job Description

As a Microsoft Dynamics Consultant supporting our business, your primary responsibility is to leverage Microsoft Dynamics F&O solutions to improve operational efficiency, enhance internal customer service, and ensure that the organization’s financial management processes are well-integrated and streamlined. You will work closely with the business team to identify specific needs, customize Dynamics solutions, and provide ongoing support to optimize the business processes.

 

Key Responsibilities & Duties

 

  • Design and implement technology best practices, guidelines, and repeatable processes. Technical evaluations and ensuring best practices are followed enabling system scalability and enhancements internally or from Microsoft.
  • Gather requirements and objectives for implementing Microsoft Dynamics solutions
  • Effectively demonstrate the solution capabilities, mapping of existing processes in standard best practice solutions, perform fit-gap analysis and bridge the GAPs through innovative solution
  • Configure Microsoft Dynamics 365 to align with the business specific requirements, including financial management, and operations modules
  • Work on the integration of financial modules within Microsoft Dynamics, ensuring accurate and efficient financial tracking, billing, and reporting.
  • Implement financial controls and optimize billing and payment processes
  • Leverage system capability for continuous improvement and keep updated on new software functionality
  • Co-Design with CE functional consultant, the project management integration and mapping of projects for both projects deliverables and budgets.
  • Facilitate adoption of Microsoft Dynamics 365 by closely working with business users to implement the best practice solution with minimum or no customization.
  • Implement financial controls and optimize project and payment processes.
  • Offer ongoing support and troubleshooting to address user inquiries and issues
  • Develop custom reports and dashboards to provide insights into HR metrics and workforce analytics.
  • Integrate Microsoft Dynamics with third-party systems, such as mobile apps.
  • Create and maintain project documentation, including system designs, configurations, and user guides.
  • Provide technical assistance and cross training to other team members.
  • Define and articulate end-to-end system workflows
  • Assists internal stakeholders in their testing of newly configured system functions, documenting issues and acceptance, as appropriate
  • Provide answers to stakeholders by identifying problems; researching reported issues; troubleshooting technical issues
  • Provide training   sessions   and   workshops   on   system   processes   for internal   and   external
  • Create and maintain project documentation, including system designs, configurations, and user guides.
  • Provide technical assistance and cross training to other team members.
  • Work collaboratively with a team encompassing many different backgrounds and experience levels.
  • Analyze existing operational processes and recommend improvements to increase efficiency.
  • Implement features to streamline approval processes e.g., travel requisitions, budget requests
  • Enhance end-user service by ensuring real-time access to program data and feedback.
  • Develop custom reports and dashboards for data analysis and business insights.
  • Analyze existing business processes and recommend improvements.
  • Implement process automation and workflow enhancements to increase efficiency.

Knowledge and Skills

 

  • Functional & process knowledge of Dynamics 365 F&O modules.
  • Deep knowledge and experience using the data structures, and objects associated with the Finance and Operations solutions.
  • Project management with proven track record

 

Qualifications & Experience

 

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information System or Engineering, Microsoft certification highly desirable
  • Minimum 7-10 years of Microsoft Dynamics AX/D365 F&O implementation experience as functional consultant within NGO/Educational experience. Experience with MS projects with NGO/Grants/educational experience is highly desirable

 

Timeline & Terms

 

  • Full-time, remote (based in the time zone with maximum of 2 hours difference with the UAE)
