Meet Alaa Maarouf, an AGFE scholar from Palestine who pursued a MS in Electrical & Computer Engineering at the American University of Beirut

“My dream has always been to utilize technology to make a change. The AGFE scholarship allowed me to major in Artificial Intelligence and paved the way for my career in the field. It was certainly a unique experience that enriched both my technical knowledge and soft skills.”​

Alaa graduated from the American University of Beirut in 2021 and currently she is employed as a Data Scientist at Schlumberger in the United Arab Emirates.​

Alaa is looking forward to exceling in her field and help her community know more about Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning.
