Meet Nabil Bleibel, an AGF scholar from Palestine who pursued a MS of Mechanical Engineering in Applied Energy at the American University of Beirut.

“Receiving the Al Ghurair Scholarship was a life-changing experience. It gave me the support I needed to pursue my dream of obtaining a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering at the American University of Beirut, which is one of the top universities in the region. The scholarship not only helped me to achieve my academic goals but also provided me with the opportunity to broaden my horizons, learn from experts in my field, and meet other scholars from around the Arab World.”

Nabil graduated from the American University of Beirut in 2020 and he is currently employed as a Technical Consultant at GlobalDWS Corporations in Canada.

“Giving back to my community is something that I am deeply committed to. I believe that it is our responsibility as individuals to give back to society, especially to those who are less fortunate. I plan to give back to my community by volunteering my time and resources to support local initiatives that aim to promote education. I also hope to inspire young people to pursue careers in STEM fields and to help them overcome the obstacles that they may face along the way.”
