Meet Nour Al Deen Fayyad, an AGF scholar from Syria who pursued a BS in Computer Engineering at Koc University.

“While having a passion for Computer Engineering, coming into a prestigious university like Koc with elite student left me doubting if I could achieve my goals and excel in this field. However, meeting all the other talented students from the AGF scholarship truly inspired me to improve, as these students came from similar backgrounds as me. This opportunity given by AGF aligned me better and pushed me towards achieving my career and life goals, and for that I am forever grateful.”​

Nour Al Deen graduated from Koc University in 2022 and upon his graduation he got employed as a Full Stack Engineer at CareX AI in the United States. He will be able to apply his engineering background to solve problems in the healthcare field.​

“My way of giving back is sharing all the knowledge I have acquired throughout my studies to everybody without discrimination. I will do my best to share my journey as a computer engineer with the Arab community.”
