Meet Ziad Shain, an AGF scholar from Egypt who pursued a MS in Engineering Management at Arizona State University.

“Becoming an AGF scholar has truly been a life-changing experience both, professionally and personally. I was not only able to graduate with a 4.0 GPA and a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification from ASU, but also gained interpersonal skills to be able to share my experiences and give back to my community.”

Ziad graduated from Arizona State University in 2021, and currently he is employed as a Services Consultation Senior Engineer at Schneider Electric in Cairo, Egypt. Last year, he was selected to become a mentor and take part in constructive discussions with university students as part of the Amideast Mentorship Program.

Ziad is looking forward to be involved in tactical and strategic projects and would like to inspire our future leaders to pursue their lifelong passion.
